Plant Apps – Are they reliable?

I have a plant app on my phone to help me identify plants. I’m curious if they have steered anyone wrong on herbal identifications or if they can be reasonably trusted.

PictureThis works pretty well, but I doubt anything is 100%. It is important though to check it against the other pictures it gives so you can check for yourself

I like the PictureThis app. My husband thinks I know everything and is always asking what plant something is.  I have found the app pretty reliable with just a few times I have questioned it and found it was talking about something similar.

Picture This has worked pretty well for me as well although have had a couple of plants misidentified.  I do like having the pictures to compare with my plant.
