        Hello all,

After harvesting some plantain leaves, I was soaking in a bowl of water with a pinch of baking soda. Noticing I was having trouble keeping my eyes open, and realizing I’d been awake for a ridiculous amount of time, I decided to hit the hay.

Unthinkingly, I stuck the bowl into the fridge, my mind (what little bit was still working) only concerned with sleep. When I went to remove the bowl, I noticed some of the top leaves in the bowl had some blackish discoloration.

        My questions:

Did I soak all the good stuff out?

Is the black stuff mold, or something else?

Appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!
