My wife is nursing and so Doc Jones prebiotic formula is out (looks like the only thing in it that isn’t nursing safe is the Elecampane). Does anyone have any other product recommendations for a prebiotic formula for her since she will be nursing for a while?

Scott – Doc’s formulas are great guides, but aren’t rigid- he changes it up when needed.  Use the herbs that are lactation safe, omitting the elecampane.  For instance blend equal parts of burdock, dandelion, oatstraw and flax.  I make a similar blend for adding to bread dough – without elecampane because it’s an overwhelming flavor.  Best to you and your family, Dee
