I spend too much time watching You Tube..my excuse is that i only have digital tv reception and i really don’t like the news a whole lot..to much hype and rubbish. That said i watched a skin video and the author mentioned Helichrysum italicum as his go to herb (30 years experience using it) for skin health..one thing i found very exciting is that it is very good for aging thin skin and the bruises that so many many senior/elderly people have.I found an article on this web site https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9957194/pdf/foods-12-00802.pdf and I have to say that i am so glad that i looked for information..I am very excited by what i found and i am thinking it would make a wonderful addition to a skin salve as an ingredient ( a few drops) or the only ingredient using the flowers . The essential oil suppliers have the essential oil available not cheap as it apparently takes a lot of flowers to make the oil. Look it up guys ..I looked up curry plant and the latin name and cannot find it anywhere here. It is apparently safe for sensitive skin. I also looked up a cosmetic oil and ingredient supplier here that have purchased ingredients from when i dabbled in making an oil and water lotion..but Docs way looks a lot easier. Good article escentials of australia pty ltd. Also happy because it is available here..so i can grow some as well..when i finally have a fence. In the middle of a cow paddock ATM..lol.Hard to grow anything because the cattle invade me on a regular basis.
Hi Elizabeth, that is a neat study. Thank you for sharing this info … I’ll finish diving into it later. I have the EO for skin formulas but this study will be good to support other uses. Best, D
