StudentWhen multiple things are going on in the body and I’d like to address them, how do I know which to start with so I’m not ingesting large amounts of herbs at a time? I know Doc says to start with the GI tract if it’s a cleanse, but what about other issues? Which should be addressed first and how many can be addressed at the same time? Is there a principle to follow to figure this out?

Homestead InstructorI’m writing a new lesson on Principles for Herbal Consultations that will discuss this in more detail, but in most situations, one can address several issues at once…but it’s a longer discussion. It depends on what the issues are, what the condition of the client is etc… I’ll get that module done sometime this week or next. :0)

StudentDoc, I’m sure that you’ve done the Principles for Herbal Consultations module, but for whatever reason, I just cannot find it. Any help would be appreciated!

StudentHey Doc, have you had time to do the Principles for Herbal Consultations yet? I can’t find it if it’s there. I have basically the same question as Annett does since I’m old and have all kinds of very odd “stump the doctor” maladies.

Homestead InstructorIt’s on the list. I just finished 4 on the Immune system and am working on several huge endocrine system ones.
Have a look at The Case Study on Dave in the case studies section. That was a case with several things going on and you can see how I often look for ways to kill two birds with one stone.

StudentAwesome and thanks for answering this. I’ll check out the ones you’ve done and wait on the others! You take really good care of your inquisitive students (ok, ALL the students to be honest)!

StudentThe case study was great – so nice to see how you put 2 and 2 together, and how things interact in our bodies. Very nice, and I look forward to seeing more like this. Amazing how our Creator knew how to make bodies work. Evolution is the biggest joke in our house! Thanks Doc – much of the digestive info in this case study is right on track for me and my issues, so a win win with that video.
