After multiple attempts to treat with the first line recommended antibiotics, then had a culture done for a persistent feline URI, came back as Pseudonomas Aeruginosa & sensitivity testing for antibiotic resistance. Treated my cat with a floroquinolone from the list for 18 days but he still has the URI. The other options are antibiotics in the same family or injection only gentamicin.

Vet said before the culture that I should expect a 20% success rate that he would ever recover as persistent URI’s/rhinitis in the feline world hasn’t made progress. I have bought some herbpet products but wondering what I could do to help my little guy breathe again in this fight against psuedonomas aeruginosa that would also not be toxic to cats. I know I need an expectorant but what would be best against this gram negative beast?

I’ve had good luck on several refractory cases that weren’t responding to antibiotics using the Immunity Support and BugBuster formulas together.

They’re hard to get into cats. Sometimes they’ll take them mixed with strong smelling canned food.

          Both formulas are here:

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
