Hello we abopted a rabbit with a issue in her leg. I wish I could upload a picture but it is bleeding and no hair is growing there. What can I put on it?

Hello Bill,
You could try putting Aloe Vera on the wound. I had a rabbit that had a teared ear that was bleeding and had no fur on the ear and within a few days it was completely healed thanks to the Aloe ! Coconut and Castor oil are good options as well. The important part is to keep applying whatever oil you use on the wound constantly for quicker healing. Yarrow is good for bleeding or cornstarch to stop the bleeding as well.

Comfrey or the Poultice formula would be good too. Have a look at the wound management lessons.
Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
