Our rabbit has what’s called the snuffles, a bacterial infection where their nose runs and they sneeze a lot. From what we’ve read it says we should cull the rabbit. Are there herbs we can use to get rid of the infection? Supposably giving them antibiotics works for a while and then it comes right back. We’ve been giving thyme, oregano, and basil. Also is there a herb book geared towards animals?

Chronic sinus infections are difficult to treat in rabbits. If you’re producing rabbits commercially, you’re probably better off to cull him.

If he’s just a pet, there are herbs that can help.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
