        Has anyone had help reversing receding gums with particular herbs?

              Following – thank you for asking this question! I’ve heard of coconut oil or sesame oil (oil-pulling) as a possible aid for receding gums, but don’t know if there’s research backing this.

                    I likewise have heard that oil pulling can help.  There are books on the subject of oil pulling and its benefits.  Take a look online, I am sure you will be able to find more information.   Good luck.

                      We talk about oil pulling in the Herbal Cleanses lesson in the General Herbalism section.

                      Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

                      I’ve used the Periodontal formula on some receding gum cases (mostly dogs with severe periodontal disease but some humans too) with good effects

                      The Upper Digestive System lesson talks about how I use the formula on slide 34.

                          Thank you! I ordered Periodontal formula plus strong bone formulas. Looking forward to seeing positive results. It’s been a bit of a battle for many years and have been very diligent with mouth care & diet. Have been oil pulling as well for years. I believe there there is hope for improvement and excited to give it a try.
