        Last year I threw a bunch of red clover seed (the sprouting kind) in my back forty…. I went out today and I have hundreds of red clover heads blooming!!! Most beautiful red color!!! when do I harvest them and do I use the wild foraging rule of only harvest 1/3 and leave the rest?

          Any time it’s in flower is fine. Yup. ..top 1/3 would be good. 🙂

          Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

            in doing further research I realize that it was CRIMSON clover( Trifolium incarnatum)…. not red clover…..can it be used the same way?

              I couldn’t find any medicinal uses for it.
