My husband (Bob) and I (Rusty) are both doing this study together. I have Hashimotos and have very limited foods that I can eat. I can’t eat anything in the nightshade family, which eliminates Ashwaganda for me. It is in several of the tincture formulas that I would like to make and take but am wondering if Rhodiola would do as a good substitute for Ashwaganda?

It depends what actions of Ashwagandha you’re looking for.  Substituting for specific actions is easier than substituting a complete plant.

BTW, if you haven’t already, have a look at this lesson for some other Hashimoto helps:

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
