I was dealing with chronic constipation due to leaky gut syndrome (intestinal permeability syndrome) and dysbiosis diagnoses. One of the first things my new doctor (who I owe my life to) had me begin using is rhubarb root powder. Between 1 to 2 grams in a shake I make every morning now. On the second day I had three very healthy bowel movements by noon that day. I’ve been going at least twice a day ever since. When I asked how this was so effective I was told rhubarb root efficiently activates “peristalsis” of the colon… I’ve developed a keen interest in herbal medicine though admittedly I am new to it all… That’s why I’m here, to learn and share what I’ve learned.
