Saline Infusion?

I made an eye wash with water but it wasn’t as comfortable as a saline solution and that made me wonder:

Will a saline solution with herbs in it infuse properly to be used as eye drops?

I do not see any reason it would not work as well. Maybe add the salt last?

I was thinking of just buying saline and adding herbs.

Have you made a saline solution before? Do you know the recipe? I suppose it’s simple enough right?

We put 1/4 teaspoon to 8 fl oz.

Definitely add the salt last. Otherwise the water will be less able to dissolve the herbs and pull them into solution.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
