Satureja

Hi,

do you know a plant called Satureja (hortensis or montana)? it’s in the mint family and is very similar to oregano in flower and smell.

Do you know if it works similarly to oregano for the respiratory system?

It’s mainly a culinary herb, satureja hortensis is annual and re-seeds itself, s.montana is perennial.

I have plenty of it in my garden so I thought I would try to figure out if I can use it for colds & co. beside eating it on my pizza.
