Hi All, I’m new and didn’t see this topic. I apologize if I missed it. I’ve had really horrible eczema on my scalp for a year. It came up around the time my father died and seems to be connected to stress and also to dry conditions, like dying my hair. I’m looking for advice on treating this. I’ve tried calendula oil and using a nervine tincture I got from a Rosemary Gladstar book, but I’m too new to really know what I’m doing. Any suggestions appreciated!

I have a family member with this.  It can be fungal, auto-immune or even a food sensitivity.  We’ve used natural shampoos with Tea Tree oil, or you could add some to your existing shampoo for the best way to experiment, by changing only one variable.  Lowering sugar should help if it’s fungal.  Eliminating gluten has helped in our situation too.  Stress can trigger auto-immunity with a leaky gut and a genetic tendency in a particular direction.  Hypothyroidism can cause skin problems too. Maybe start with the shampoo plus something nutritive and antihistamine, like nettle tea daily?  Drink bone broth (best homemade) for a leaky gut.  God bless you

I’ve found relief soaking the eczema patch in a strong chickweed tea 🙂

Thanks! I haven’t tried chickweed. I’ll definitely try it. The whole thing is so uncomfortable and SO frustrating.
