        Well for the past several weeks I’ve been taking basic EMR (emergency medical responder) classes at the fire station. Tuesday night we had our final tests, both written and practical… and I PASSED! :scared: And last night I took the emergency vehicle driving class and test drove an ambulance. This means I can start accompanying the EMS crew on calls. Yikes! What have I gotten myself into?

          I don’t know but it sure takes a special constitution to deal with all of the various calls. Not sure I could do it. Is this a paid or a volunteer position?

            Both. You volunteer for various shifts as your personal life/regular job allows, and you get paid a small amount per twelve hour shift.

              Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
