Hi and thank you! I’m yet another new one embarking on this journey thanks to Doug & Stacy. I heard Doc Jones give a short class online and fell in love with his teaching style, wit, and wisdom. My home is the NM desert, and I’ve been concerned that my plant foraging skills may be slimmer than most due to the climate here. But days ago I tripped on the road in front of my home, creamed my hand and made a bit of a hole in one finger. Despite having researched and assembled a decent emergency kit over the course of this past year, I found myself responding like a deer in the headlights, neither knowing what to do nor where to find it. Neosporin and bandaids were all I could muster for the first 24 hours before locating where I had stashed some calendula salve and non-stick pads. The calendula, though late, is working so much better that the other. So when I heard Stacy mention Doc Jones that very same night, and then the next day Rosalee de la Foret had an interview with him, I knew I needed this course badly! That he addresses my climate and using what’s available universally is so encouraging! I can’t wait to dive in!

Hello Jill, I’m a newby today and I also have found Doug and Stacey to be a valuable asset. Isn’t it WONDERFUL to have access to so many knowledgeable people who share and spread much needed wisdom. I’m excited to begin my journey, or rather expand it with Doc Jones. By the way, I finish part of this assignment to create a post on this forum because I see no where to post. What am I missing?

I’ve been watching everything I can find of Doc Jones on yt, but I couldn’t afford the school. Stacy, stated the school had a sale going on and she had started. So, I took advantage and jumped in. I’m very excited to be in school again, at my retired 66yr old age! Thank you Doc Jones for the sale. I’m sure this school will be helpful to many people in many ways!

I’ve watched D&S for over 8 yrs. I can’t always watch everything they publish, so I’d not seen the (I assume) live show where Stacy mentioned this course. On my own, I’d been also watching Doc Jones for awhile too. Taking a course like this has been on my “to do” list for over 15 yrs. So, its great to be among like minded people and through this we can recapture the lost knowledge that was “COMMON” 100 yrs ago! We have an off-grid property we got 14 yrs ago, but our infrastructure is still being built out. Due to things still not finished, so we can’t live there in the winter. I’ve been visiting family and need to work on this course Full Time and take breaks while we are working on our place in the Summers. So hello to our community of like minds!

Hi. I’m a Doug and Stacy fan, too! I had been contemplating on learning herbal medicine for almost a year now, but I didn’t know which herbal medicine classes were worth while. When I saw Dr. Jones at the Homesteading Family, I still wasn’t so sure about taking the classes because of the costs for the tuition. I watched some of Dr. Jones’s videos on YouTube and thought they were helpful. Now, I’m so thankful to Doug and Stacy because they highly recommended Dr. Jones which led me right in here.
