This person needs to lose more than 100 pounds, and fairly quickly, according to her doctor. She is able to walk around the block, but that’s about it. She is 65, has food allergies to dairy, eggs and gluten, as well as most grains, and cannot tolerate caffeine. She eats organic vegetables and fruits, and says she eats very little sugar. My first thought is to have her keep a food diary so she can see what she is actually eating, and use herbs that are supportive for the liver: perhaps burdock tea and dandelion root tea?
