Snake and Spider bited

Dear Doc Jones

Your mixture for snake and spider bites include Mallow and Dandelion. Does one have to use the root of these plants or will the leaves do. Can one harvest roots any time of year or does it have to be in autumn?

We use the root since they are more effective for these uses.

How medicinal is the dandelion flower? If I harvest a bunch of flowers is it as good as using the leaves–for kidneys and liver and nutrients, etc.?

The leaf and root have more concentrated medicine.
