StudentI am a new student and VERY excited. I have seen pretty much every youtube video out there by Dr Jones. A tincure I had made from Solomon Seal about 12 years ago was taking up space. I had just adopted a rescue from Tennessee, she came with hip issues. The vets wanted to operate and I decided to try the tincture. after 30 days, one dropperful daily, she was no longer lame. Now that my dogs are older they get a dropperful every day in their dinner, they are able to jump and climb very well. the lab is now 14 years old. Not perfectly but it has been a lifesaver.

StudentOhhh, this is so good to know! I have some Soloman’s Seal that I bought before I started learning from this class, but I don’t know how to tincture it (IE: what strength alcohol – and/or to powder it or not). Hoping for some more good tips here! Congrats on reaching for that tincture with your new fur baby!!

StudentVery Interesting. I was just researching solomon seal because I purchased a tincture quite some time ago but never ended up using it. I also have a elderly dog who is starting to have some joint issues. Thank you for sharing!

StudentI guess that the question to ask might be what is the better variety of the plant for medicinal use.

StudentOur dog is getting older and we have been trying some of the joint stuff from the pet food store. It doesn’t seem to be helping much . I’ll have to try the solomons seal!

Homestead InstructorSolomon’s seal is a good anti-inflammatory. False Solomon’s seal is a good respiratory herb. Make sure you get the right one. :0)
The Herbs in the Joint Support formula are good for arthritic dogs too.
