Stick it in Yer Ear!

I had an herb walk this weekend. One of the students brought her cute daughter. Apparently the girl had an earache in the night while they were at the hotel. They didn’t have mullein oil or an onion or any of the other standard remedies for earache but they did have some fresh mullein flowers they’d just collected. So, she put one of the flowers in her ear canal. Apparently it worked just fine.

Just another reminder that the medicine is the plant and the plant is the medicine.
