Lately I have been going through some real turmoil related to my employment. I am now working extremely weird hours at night. It has been hard on Renee. Last night I found her curled up in a chair with a heat pack on her jaw. She admitted to having not slept very well for several nights (after I told her about being made to work twelve hour shifts this week) and was experiencing jaw clinching.

I put together a mixture of Valerian (tincture), Lemon Balm, a mint blend and Sib Ginseng with slippery elm “pills” (made at Patrick’s herb class) (dry herbs). This was all mixed together in some hot water.

Five minutes after she finished the tea she came back and said that the pain in her jaw was GONE! This morning she said she slept better than she has recently.

Sounds like she’s got a good herbalist. Glad she’s feeling better.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
