i am on vacation in Ohio and spotted some teasel in fields. I felt quite excited seeing it and was hoping to harvest some roots to use in a tincture for lower back pain from years of working in child care. Well… Today i spotted a large stand of teasel within bike riding distance of where I’m staying and will shortly make my way back there armed with gloves and digging implements.

I also made some plantain and calendula salves for a rash on my baby grandson. The plantain was quite effective and after sharing this info with my daughter in law she began using plantain leaves in baby’s bath water.

Great work Sabrina. Make sure to get first year roots (the guys that haven’t bolted up to flower seed and die). :0)

I have a friend who has very severe sciatica. I have sent her hops and teasel tincture and she has using it as a spray. The sciatic nerve is deep but she has been getting some relief with that.So i would suggest that you try that as a spray for your back pain.I really do think it would help you. Its a great combination. Definitely the best thing that i have for pain at the moment.
