A guy dies and goes to heaven. St. Peter meets him at the pearly gates and takes him to his office to get some paperwork done.
Covering the walls of St. Peter’s office are thousands of clocks, each reading a different time.
“What’s with the clocks St. Peter?” asks the guy.
“Those are the clocks of truth.” replies the old saint. “Each time a person lies, the hands move one minute.”
The guy looks around for awhile then says “Hey here are a bunch of clocks for the US presidents!“
“Yes” says St. Peter “everyone has a clock“.
“Wow” says the guy. “George Washington’s clock is still at 12:00“
“Yes” says St Pete “George never could tell a lie“.
“And Abraham Lincoln’s clock is only at 5 minutes after” says the guy.
“Well they didn’t call him Honest Abe for nothing” says St. Peter.
“So where’s President Obama’s clock?” The man asks.
“Oh” says St. Peter “the Boss has got that one up in His office. He’s using it for a ceiling fan.”
