I am approaching my first batch of tincture that has reached 6 weeks made from fresh. If I don’t press, do I still need to shake once a day? I have jars filled to full capacity with very little air space at top. For long(ish) term storage, should I leave as is with fresh/dried herbs or better shelf life if pressed? Thank you!

in one of his videos, Doc says that he often strains the tinctures when he needs the jar for something else.

You only need to shake for a week or two. After that, Karen’s right, strain when you need the bottle. :0)

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
