I have in the past Mixed a little tea tree oil in some melted bees wax to put on topically. It helps, but doesn’t completely kill it. What would you recommend for toenail fungus?

I’m pretty sure there is a lesson somewhere that talks about fungal infections (it may even be in the skin lesson), but I can’t remember for sure.  What I do know is, the HGH shop does have a formula for IFXN- fungal topical.  Some of the stuff that’s in it are black walnut, calendula, and garlic, and a couple other things that I can’t remember.  From my own research, I’ve also seen reports that oak and chaparral also have antifungal properties, so if you wanted to make your own formula, this is a good list of ingredients to try.  Since herbs with similar properties often work via different mechanisms, it is often helpful to combine some of them, so you get the whole spectrum – hit it from all directions, so to speak.  For example, one of the compounds that make black walnut and oak effective, are the high concentration of tannins.  They are strongly astringent, which helps to dry out those damp conditions that allow fungus and other microbes to proliferate.  Then add something like chaparral, which is strongly antimicrobial.  Calendula is also antimicrobial, but it is also vulnerary, which aids in the regrowth of clean, healthy tissue as the infected tissue dies and sheds off.  I hope that helps!

You could use the Fungal Topical formula (or something similar that you whip up) topically

The Candida and the Immunity support internally can be good additions too.

Look at the Skin 1 lesson in the Body Systems section. About slide #45.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
