Turmeric and high blood pressure medication

I have a friend that would like to begin taking turmeric for his liver issues (Hepatitis from toxins) but is on medication for high blood pressure. Is it safe for him to take turmeric and blood pressure medications together?

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

The blood pressure medication he’s taking is Amlodipine and Lisinopril. If you wouldn’t mind responding, I sure would appreciate it Dr. Jones☺️
