So I’m wanting to use glycerin as a menstrum. I have discovered a bunch of info about glycerin in vape blogs which aren’t very helpful places since they aren’t really using VG as we do……

Vegetable glycerin (VG) comes with all kinds of labels and I need to know which properties are okay to use.

I want to be able to ingest this stuff.

I also want to use it to replace honey in syrups due to blood sugar concerns.

Is 100% pure okay? Even if it lists only skin care usage?

Does USP or Food Grade on the label have any real meaning?

Should I avoid VG that is not USP or food grade, even if it’s 100% pure?

Are certain brands known to be okay?

I got some NOW (brand) 100% pure vegetable glycerine derived from Non-GMO palm, grape seed, or coconut oil.

        Ingredients Listed: glycerin.

Is it safe to use for a menstrum?

        Suggestion?

        Thanks,

        Martha

          I use food grade stuff.

          bulkapothecary.com sells big jugs.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

Most local drug places will have it too.. like Walgreens. Just look for FOOD GRADE.
