When purchasing powders by the ounce, can you use 5 ounces of alcohol to make the 1:5 ratio, or do these need to be weighed?

A fluid ounce and a weight ounce are two completely different things. I don’t know why they have the same name.
Tincture ratios are by weight rather than volume.
Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
