As of now, I’ve been storing most of my dried herbs in sealed glass jars in a dark cabinet. However, I tend to move around a bit and I was wondering if there was an easy/best way to store dried herbs, even temporarily as in a few weeks/months, that doesn’t include plastic bags/containers. Personal hypothetical preference would be soft leather bags but is there a typical preferred way?
Patrick has smallish white plastic containers that he includes with his travel kits. He also includes tinctures in glass bottles with droppers. I could post a picture of the white container if that helps.
There are special “Jar boxes” you can buy to keep class jars from breaking when moving around. You can get either pint or quart sized.
If you use 2-Quart jars, order them from wal-mart and they’ll ship them in the most wonderfully bullet-proof cardboard boxes you’ve ever seen. I use those to travel with glass jars to workshops.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
