I recall Doc mentioning how fragrant his yarrow is and also reading that you should harvest yarrow when it is in bloom and fragrant. My dilemma is that my largest patch of yarrow has been in bloom for a few weeks but it does not have a fragrance.  The blooms are white, and the plants came from a reputable source and were labeled “Yarrow, Medicinal.”  I had planned on drying the yarrow and making tinctures with it, but I am questioning the medicinal potency since the fragrance is lacking.  Have any of you students encountered this situation with yarrow ??

Well I think the easiest way to tell is to take some. Yarrow will heat you up and make you sweat, so it should be easy to tell if it works or not
