Which Plantain and where to find it?

Hi, I’m new to the forum, so this may already be answered and I just haven’t found it yet.

I have heard so many good things about plantain and I want to grow some.  Which variety is recommended to start with, and where is a good place to find seeds or starts?  I am in Idaho.

I believe Doc grows Giant Turkish Plantain and this is what I grow too. I got my seeds from Strictly Medicinal Seeds. If you have a yard or access to a yard the wild variety probably grows there as a weed. The broader leaf plantain usually grows under or near shade and the narrow leaf variety grows under full sun. Plantago major is the species I grow. We’ll have some seed in a couple of weeks when it’s ready. :0)
