Student—Or maybe Echinacea. The hairs and pointed leaves make Echinacea a better guess.

Studentok, looks like I got it wrong, but at this size, I would hate to have to survive on a guess like this….
Thanks for trying it out on me anyway. 🙄

DO NOT be discouraged. Patrick does not know what it is! 😉
At least you put some thought and effort into it! :yahoo:
I would not know what it was either. It is all about the learning experience.

It looks like Ashwaganda. I didn’t know you were sneaking an Asian in on us.
🙂 Ashwaganda (for those who haven’t met him) is native to India where it’s a perennial. It’s too much of a sissy to be a perennial in these climes. I’ve grown it and harvested it here.
It’d be cool if you could get it far enough to seed!
Ahswaganda is sometimes called Indian Ginseng. Like the real ginsengs, it’s good for about everything.
It’s particularly good for healing brain trauma. That’s what I use it for most. I make a formula for stroke victims that’s equal parts ashwaganda, Ginkgo and Siberian ginseng.
