I really do like the idea of being in control of where my plant medicine comes from and so my goal this spring is to increase the inhabitants of my garden to as many herb friends as I can and then add more in the next few years. I have two small beds and piles of containers already.

I am certainly gonna do calendula and cayenne and echinacea (and more, but I won’t bore you with the details).

But I am having a hard time coming up with a wildcraft option for cleavers, for example. I guess I need to connect up with some local folks and go tramping through the woods.

But that’s an issue in itself. Never mind…..

So I must ask – do people really on purpose PLANT cleavers :woot: and gumweed in the garden for medicinal use?? How about burdock?

And it was such a nice yard… :crying:

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
