Since yarrow is a vasoconstrictor, can it increase blood pressure? Any contraindications for someone who is hypertensive?

The vasoconstrictive effect seems to be local at the bleeding site rather than systemic. It also does some platelet aggregation to stop bleeding.

I’m not aware of any contraindication for yarrow related to hypertension.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
