Dandelion Greens

I noticed that the dandelion greens in my yard also have some of the latex in the stem. Is that safe to eat, or do I just rinse it off?

The latex is where some of the phytochemicals are located.  I have used the leaves without problems (personally, as everyone is different) in salads, pesto’s, and dried them in different ways for later use.  They really help increase urine output!

I pick a whole handful everyday and toss em down the hatch.  Never any problems for me.  I always suggest caution though.  Small amounts progressing to larger amounts over days or weeks.
