Getting Started in Georgia

Hello,

I’ve been dabbling for a little bit. So far I’ve planted yarrow, tulsi, bergamot, and lemon balm. I’ve also made tinctures from cleavers and plantain, and salves from plantain and black walnut. I’m looking forward to learning more about them and expanding my knowledge.  My husband’s grandmother used herbs and was a midwife. Unfortunately, most of her recipes were lost. We live on the family’s land.

It’s anti-fungal.

I’ve used black walnut tincture to kill ringworm topically.
