I was really impressed by the “Alone” TV series, and also enjoyed watching “Primal Survivor.”
Nicole Apelian is an herbalist/botanical expert who participated in both Season 2 and Season 5 of “Alone.” I was so impressed by her skills and knowledge. I even ended up buying a couple of her books about foraging and herbal remedies.
And in the show “Primal Survivor,” I was inspired by Hazen Audel’s quest to learn from the tribal people who have always been close to the land. Their intimate knowledge of their local plants, animals, and landscape is what enabled them to survive such harsh conditions with little to no modern assistance.
What are some other shows you’ve seen that highlight how cool primitive living and survival skills are?
