Hello! New user here! Been following Doc for a little while, now I’m dabbling in a module. Woot!

Soooo… we have a lovely goat whose pasterns are looking a little, shall we say, droopy? The breeder recommends not breeding her again and finding her a pet home. She’s only four years old, a Guernsey/Oberhasli mix. But I wonder…

What if we supplement her diet with horsetail (for the silica) and comfrey, and perhaps some comfrey poultices, if we can figure out a way to keep ’em on her. I wonder if that might strengthen her pasterns, perhaps even put her on the road to healing?

        Thoughts? ….and thanks!

Sorry, I just found this post. For some reason, I didn’t see it originally.

            How’s the goat?
